Meleena Gil (they/them) is a doctoral student in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at UNC-Chapel Hill. Drawing from queer theory and environmental humanities frameworks, Meleena focuses on representations of youth contemporary Latinx literature. They are a teaching fellow and the program coordinator for the Latina/o Studies Program and UndocuCarolina.
